Production: My own reflection on filming

Overall we have had 4 sessions of filming. Here is what I thought of each one.

FILMING DAY 1

We were able to film a few cutaways in this session for our video. We understand that we will need to do base track editing, however, we figured we could do with a couple of cutaways in our video and the use of cutaways will balance out the footage. We were able to use our knowledge from AS to use the equipment and time responsibly and wisely, whilst also having fun. Below is a gif showing some filming shots at the barbican.

FILMING DAY 2

We shot more cutaways on this day for the second verse and filmed at group member Dionne's house. This was so it went with the narrative. We got a range of different shots, including close ups. Everything we wanted to get done we got done, which is good. Below is an animoto I created.

FILMING DAY 3

We went back to the barbican and filmed some base tracks in this session. We figured we had enough cutaways so we got cracking with the base tracks. We filmed in different areas of the barbican and we got a range of angles. We were happy with what we filmed. Below is a slidely I created.

FILMING DAY 4

After reviewing the footage and gathering some feedback we decided to go and re-shoot some base tracks as well as add some new ones too. Below are some shots on Flickr.
