Brief account of the group costume, setting and prop activity completed in class.

We did a group activity in class about costumes, props and setting. This is my brief account of what we learnt in this activity.

Quick list of the things we learnt in this activity:

• Costume changes usually happen on beat
• Setting usually changes on beat and can also change from day time to night time by the end of the song
• There are on average about 2-4 costume changes per music video
• The costumes link with the genre and setting
• The setting links with the genre
• The props link with the genre
• Members of a band usually wear similar clothes, with the lead wearing something distinctly different to stand out.
